Built for email
Looks the same in Outlook as it does here
Web pages and emails are built differently. Outlook for Windows in particular ignores a lot of modern CSS, so Signed builds every signature from tables and inline styles, the way email has always needed.

Can we use the HTML signature we already have?
Yes. Paste it into the HTML editor, then swap the hard-coded name, job title and phone numbers for variables like {{display_name}}, {{job_title}} and {{phone}}. The live preview shows the result for anyone in your organisation.
What happens if someone's details are missing?
Company name, website and address fall back to the company defaults in Settings. In the HTML editor you can also wrap a line in a condition, such as {{#if mobile}} and {{/if}}, so it only shows when that person has a value.
Which fonts should we use?
Email clients only show fonts that are installed on the reader's device, so web fonts are often ignored. Pick a font with sensible fallbacks, such as Arial, Helvetica or Georgia, and your signature will look the same for almost everyone.
Can we have more than one signature design?
Yes. Every plan includes unlimited templates. Assignment rules decide which template each department, email domain or person gets.
Are the disclaimer and banners part of the template?
No, and that's deliberate. The legal disclaimer and any live campaign banners are added under the signature automatically, so you don't have to edit every template when a campaign starts or your disclaimer changes.
Is it safe to paste HTML from somewhere else?
Signature previews in the portal are sandboxed, so template code can't run scripts or reach the rest of the portal. It's still worth checking pasted HTML for anything you don't recognise before you publish it.
